Education | Why You Can Trust Our Stylists
The first On Stage opened up over 30 years ago, and since then the salon has built a reputation in both Beaumont and the North Greater Houston area. A large part of the company's success is due to our dedication to education and growth.
Our Training Program When someone wants to join our team as a stylist, we put them through a training program that lasts 6-12 months on average. They are assigned a stylist to mentor them, attend weekly classes, and practice their techniques and knowledge throughout the week. Once they have passed tests on cutting and color, they are able to get onto the floor taking clients.
Level System You may have noticed that our stylists have varying prices. This is because we use a level-system. Once a stylist gets on the floor, they start at our lowest level and price point. As the stylist gains more experience, continuing education, and skill, he/she can move up levels. Before moving up, however, the stylist must achieve certain requirements and pass different test-outs.
Continuing Education We provide multiple educational opportunities throughout the year to our stylists to learn new techniques and hone in on their skills. We have stylists who have traveled to different states for classes and several of our stylists have had the opportunity to complete the Wella Color Expert Program. This extensive program takes an in-depth look at the science of hair and color and requires in-person classes in New York City. After completion, the stylist must take a timed exam with a minimum pass rate in order to be certified.

100% Satisfaction Policy Our stylists are trained and knowledgeable and our reviews vouch for that, but sometimes things happen. Do you hate telling your server that they gave you the wrong order or forgot something? Many people can relate, but trust us, if you are disappointed when leaving the salon, we truly want to know! If you aren't happy with your services, please contact us! We want to talk to you and to take measures to make it right. We also want to use it as an opportunity to learn and improve.
